Regulate and Regenerate Tea

Regulate and Regenerate Tea

Strength- Calm- Resilience- Grounding

This blend of herbs was intentionally formulated to nourish the nervous system. Many of us have experienced periods of high stress, or chronic stress and so these herbs were chosen to help us regenerate and find grounding again.

When the nervous system is consistently out of balance it causes us to be reactive, fearful, angry, frozen and full of anxiety. Our nervous systems are heavily affected by chronic stress, and I know this is something many of us have suffered. So, I created this to help strengthen and rebuild depleted systems.

After all, when we give our body what it needs to heal and thrive it will.

Check “Why I chose each herb” to learn more about the ingredients.

Ingredients and Dosage

Ingredients: Oat Straw (Avena sativa), Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora), Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum), Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis), Nettle (Urtica dioica), Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica)

Servings: 40 mugs of tea

How to take: Steep one teaspoon in a mug of hot water for 5-10 minutes. For optimum function drink 2-3 cups a day.

You can also make an infusion by adding 2 tablespoons to steep in a litre of water overnight. This gives you delicious and healthy herbal water to hydrate you the next day. This tea works best when taken consistently.

Why I made this formulation

I was at a dinner party once and a wise friend said “when we are not well we need to step back, rest, nourish, nourish and nourish and then things fall into place”. For some time I had been learning more about the importance of nervous system regulation and what a profound effect this system has on our day to day lives. Practises like breathwork and meditation have really helped me to soothe mine, and I wanted to create something to nourish our nervous system at a foundational level.

I was delighted when my friend who had been taking it for a couple of weeks came to me and said her relationship with caffeine had radically changed, and she was much less addicted. I had a similar experience and feel much more at ease overall. I can taste the nourishment in every mug and I feel very grounded whenever I drink it. It is the perfect companion blend to potentiate the medicinal mushrooms I offer, but also works great on its own.

Why I chose each herb

Oat straw was selected as it is deeply nutritive and nourishing for the nervous system, particularly during periods of convalescence (time spent recovering after an illness). Known as a powerful trophorestorative for the nervous system, trophorestorative herbs nourish and restore the function of tired tissue states. This is partially because it is full of B vitamins and minerals.

Skullcap was included because it is a deeply grounding herb, traditionally used to ease repetitive thoughts. It is a tonic for the nervous system, and helps with stress associated symptoms like muscle tension. It eases an excitable state, and was traditionally used to cool heated emotions.

Tulsi was chosen because it gives me such discernible clarity of mind whenever I drink it. Tulsi is also known as “Holy Basil”, and monks in regions of Asia are said to drink it before they meditate. It clears the mind, bringing lightness and clarity. It relaxes the nervous system, whilst also increasing blood flow to the brain and science shows it is helpful for stress management.

Gotu Kola is in this blend because it rejuvenates the brain and nervous system after periods of stress. Science shows it is protective for the nervous system, and can support memory and mental function.

Lemon balm was included because it is such a soothing and calming herb. It lifts the spirits, and soothes the mind, and science shows it is remarkably effective yet gentle. It is also helpful for calming our digestive system which can also become irritable after too much stress, and I wanted to make sure this tea provides holistic nourishment.

Nettle was included because it is such a deeply nutritive herb, packed full of vitamins and minerals. The nervous system needs minerals to function, and so I included this to make sure your body is given building blocks it needs to thrive.

Amazing and I loved it

I absolutely love everything about the maker of this tea but beyond everything else I am very inspired of her knowledge and the tea I bought helped me so so much! I was looking for something to help me and support me on mu nervous system healing journey and when I had this tea not only i felt absolutely amazing drinking it because made me feel reconnected to my nature and is just so therapeutic to slow down and make a tea. But also helped me so much reducing my caffeine intake because for me if I have something to replace it with that slows me down and makes me feel connected I won’t crave it - and that happened. i felt calm and relaxed and was able to take really good decisions for myself from that place! I would recommend this tea so much because is really healing and so well made. Drinking was super ceremonial for me and knowing it comes from someone amazing and knowledgeable definitely enhanced my benefits ❤️

Regulate and Regenerate Tea for IBS.

I've been having regulate and regenerate tea for about two months now and it's made a noticeable difference to my symptoms linked the anxiety/stress and IBS. I've been drinking between 2 and 3 cups a day, and as I've swapped this from my usual breakfast tea I've also reduced my caffeine in-take to one cup a week, if that. So if you're looking to make one of those small habitual changes this is perfect! I'll be putting in my next order right away ❤️
